Credit Note Redemption Policy

1. Purpose
This policy will outline the terms and conditions under which credit notes issued by The Grange Community & Leisure Centre can be redeemed by customers.
2. Issuance of Credit Notes
Credit notes may be issued in the following circumstances:
Cancellations or rescheduling of classes, activities, or bookings by The Grange Community & Leisure Centre.
Customer cancellations within the acceptable cancellation timeframe as specified in The Grange Community & Leisure Centre’s cancellation policy.
Special promotions or customer service gestures.
3. Redemption Conditions
3.1 Validity Period:
Credit notes are valid for a period of 3 months from the date of issuance, unless otherwise stated on the credit note. After this period, the credit note will expire and cannot be redeemed.
3.2 Eligible Services and Products:
Credit notes can be used towards:
Entry fees for facilities (e.g., gym, pool, classes and courses).
Hire of sports equipment and facilities (e.g., court bookings, equipment rentals).
Retail products available at The Grange Community & Leisure Centre's retail outlets.
Food and Beverage products available in our café’s.
Upfront membership fees.
3.3 Non-Eligible Services:
Credit notes cannot be redeemed for:
Direct debit payments for memberships.
Third-party services or products not directly offered by The Grange Community & Leisure Centre.
Cash withdrawals.
Vending machine products.
4. Redemption Process
4.1 In-Person Redemption:
Customers must present their member number when purchasing an eligible service or product and request to redeem their credit against the product.
4.2 Online Redemption:
For services that can be booked online, customers may use their credit note by selecting the credit note during the checkout process. The system will apply the credit note value to the transaction.
5. Partial Use and Balances
5.1 Partial Use:
If the value of the credit note exceeds the total cost of the transaction, the remaining balance will be reissued as a new credit note with the original expiration date.
5.2 No Change Given:
Credit notes are not redeemable for cash, and no change will be given if the transaction value is less than the credit note value.
6. Transferability
Credit notes are not transferable and can’t be used by individuals other than the original recipient.
7. Amendments to the Policy
The Grange Community & Leisure Centre reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of this policy at any time. Notice of any changes will be communicated via the website.
